Services We Provide to Our Patients Staying in Private Palliative Rooms
Our services in the Private Palliative Care Center in Antalya include personal care in private palliative rooms, nursing services, medication follow-up, physical therapy support, patient transfer and support for hospital processes.
Our care plans are carried out with a focus on supporting the comfort, safety, daily quality of life and continuity of care of the patient.
Personal Care and Daily Support Services
For patients staying in our private palliative service, there is no need for a family member or an external companion to stay continuously. All daily care services are provided by our experienced and professional patient care staff within our institution.
Changing incontinence products, personal body hygiene, bed bathing, oral care, hand and foot care, nail care, hair and beard care, underarm cleaning and daily hygiene practices are regularly carried out in line with the care plan. If the general condition of the patient is suitable, controlled and safe bathing support is also provided.
In the palliative care approach, the aim is not only to meet basic daily needs. The main purpose is to ensure that the patient remains in a clean, orderly, safe and as comfortable as possible care environment, to help protect skin integrity, to support the prevention of problems related to long-term lying and to maintain the dignity of the patient's daily life.
Patient Transfer and Support for Hospital Processes
We provide professional patient transfer support for chemotherapy and radiotherapy processes of cancer patients, as well as doctor outpatient visits, imaging, laboratory procedures and medical board report processes of our other patients.
With our stretcher vehicle, wheelchair-compatible vehicles and other transport vehicles suitable for patient transfer, the transportation process is planned according to the patient’s general condition. When necessary, our healthcare staff and care team provide accompaniment support.
Continuity of care is of great importance in palliative care services. Therefore, safe transportation to hospital controls, treatment appointments and official health procedures is considered a complementary part of the care service. This approach supports regular medical follow-up while reducing the management burden on patient relatives.
Nursing Services
Our nursing services are carried out by nurses experienced in palliative care. Nursing applications are planned and monitored regularly according to the patient’s current clinical status, daily care needs and treatment plan.
These include injections, intravenous medication administration, blood collection, dressing, wound care, pressure sore care, serum administration, necessary nursing interventions, ECG applications and monitoring of vital signs with patient monitoring devices. Blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation and the patient’s general clinical condition are followed within the care plan.
In palliative care, the role of nursing services is not limited to procedures. The main purpose is to closely monitor symptoms, detect possible clinical changes early, maintain care safety and support the patient’s daily comfort.
Medication Follow-up and Physical Therapy Support
The medications used by our patients are followed regularly, timely administration is supported and care is taken to preserve treatment order. Regular medication follow-up is one of the most important elements supporting care safety in the palliative care process.
Our physical therapy and mobilization support are planned according to the patient’s overall condition, movement capacity and current care needs. In patients who remain bedridden for long periods, muscle loss due to immobility, joint stiffness, contracture development, slowing of circulation and decreased comfort during care may occur.
For this reason, appropriate physical therapy and mobilization practices are important in maintaining joint range of motion, supporting circulation, facilitating positioning, increasing comfort during care and preserving functionality as much as possible. This process also contributes to supporting the patient’s quality of life.
