Physical Therapy and Mobilization
In palliative care, physical therapy is not simply movement support; it is also an important part of comfort, circulation support, musculoskeletal preservation and better daily care quality.
In bedridden patients, prolonged immobility may lead to muscle loss, joint stiffness, contracture development, slowed circulation and reduced comfort. For this reason, physical therapy planning appropriate to the patient’s condition is considered an important part of the care process.
Physical therapy and mobilization practices in our center are planned to preserve joint range of motion, support muscle mass, improve in-bed positioning, support circulation and help the patient reach the highest possible level of comfort.
With passive exercises, individualized mobilization, positioning support and physiotherapy protocols appropriate to the patient’s condition, the goal is to reduce functional loss especially in the post-intensive care period. This approach may also contribute to greater comfort during care, better tolerance for sitting and safer daily care practices.
Palliative Care Services
In our private palliative rooms, a planned, safe and multidimensional care process is carried out for patients with advanced care needs.
Care plans are developed individually for patients with tracheostomy, respiratory support needs, PEG feeding, nasogastric tube or jejunostomy feeding, regular aspiration requirements and long-term care needs.
Within this process, nursing services, medication administration, nutritional monitoring, personal care, positioning, aspiration support and general follow-up are maintained in an organized way. The aim is not only to continue routine procedures, but also to protect the patient’s comfort, safety and care quality.

Advanced Patient Care
For cancer patients and individuals with advanced care needs, the care process should address physical, psychological and daily life needs together.
In this group of patients, the care approach includes not only treatment follow-up but also reducing symptom burden, improving daily comfort, maintaining nutritional support and ensuring safe care practices.
Through nursing support, medication and nutritional monitoring, physical care practices, patient transfer planning when needed and the regular continuation of care processes, daily life is supported in a more organized and reliable way.
